If you don't renew your policy and it ends, you can contact us to set up a new policy to keep you covered.
You can do this online by setting up a new policy.
Remember, motor and bike insurance is a legal requirement, so if you don't renew your policy with us, make sure you don't drive or ride until you're insured.
It's best to start reviewing your renewal offer as soon as you receive it. We'll write to you ahead of your renewal date with your new policy documents, cover details and price.
This gives you plenty of time to update any information you need to, make changes to your cover and shop around.
Once you're happy with your renewal offer, you'll need to head to My Account to renew your policy. If your policy is set to automatically renew, we'll take care of everything for you.
- Select 'Renew policy' on the policy you want to update.
- Read your documents and check your details are up to date.
- Review your payment options and select your preferred method.
- If paying monthly by Direct Debit, select 'Renew Policy Now'.
- If paying annually, select 'Renew Policy Now' and complete payment.
Once you've renewed your policy, you'll see a confirmation message. You must renew before your renewal date or your policy will end.
It's important to check:
- Your name, address and contact information.
- Your vehicle details, registration and mileage.
- Any changes to where your vehicle is kept.
- Your cover details and optional extras.
- Any policy endorsements.
- Your product information documents.
- Your premium and payment method.
- Your payment details.
- Your policy terms and conditions.
- Information about complaints or cancellation.
You can find this information in My Account or within your renewal documents.
If you have any questions, need to make a change or would like support before renewing, you can start a chat using the speech bubble icon in the bottom-right corner of My Account.
If all of your details are correct, including your personal information and payment details, there's nothing you need to tell us.
It's easy to update your details in My Account.
This depends on the details you choose to change.
Updating contact information, your name or communication preferences won't affect the price you pay for your policy.
However, changing additional products such as breakdown cover or legal cover may affect both your level of cover and your premium.
Changes to your vehicle, home address, cover level or annual mileage may result in your premium increasing or decreasing depending on how the insurer assesses the risk.
It's important that you tell us about any changes so your policy remains valid and we can continue to provide cover.
