If you don't renew your policy and it ends, you can contact us to set up a new policy to keep you covered.
You can do this online by setting up a new policy.
Remember, motor and bike insurance is a legal requirement, so if you don't renew your policy with us, make sure you don't drive or ride until you're insured.
It's best to start reviewing your renewal offer as soon as you receive it. We'll write to you ahead of your renewal date with your new policy documents, cover details and price.
This gives you plenty of time to update any information you need to, make changes to your cover and shop around.
Once you're happy with your renewal offer, you'll need to head to My Account to renew your policy. If your policy is set to automatically renew, we'll take care of everything for you.
- Select 'Renew policy' on the policy you want to update.
- Read your documents and check your details are up to date.
- Review your payment options and select your preferred method.
- If paying monthly by Direct Debit, select 'Renew Policy Now'.
- If paying annually, select 'Renew Policy Now' and complete payment.
Once you've renewed your policy, you'll see a confirmation message. You must renew before your renewal date or your policy will end.
It's important to check:
- Your name, address and contact information.
- Your vehicle details, registration and mileage.
- Any changes to where your vehicle is kept.
- Your cover details and optional extras.
- Any policy endorsements.
- Your product information documents.
- Your premium and payment method.
- Your payment details.
- Your policy terms and conditions.
- Information about complaints or cancellation.
You can find this information in My Account or within your renewal documents.

If all of your details are correct, including your personal information and payment details, there's nothing you need to tell us.
It's easy to update your details in My Account.
This depends on the details you choose to change. If you’re updating things like your contact information, your name or your communication preference then this will not impact the price you pay for your policy.
If you want to change any additional products you have added to your cover, like Home Emergency Cover and Home Legal Protection then this will change the level of cover you have with us and your price, if you’re adding or removing additional cover.
Your price is based on the current information we have, and making changes such as your home address, your cover level or updating your insured items, you may see the premium change.
It’s really important that you let us know of any changes so your policy remains valid and we can cover you.
